Hardware Design Virtual Internship

GAO Research Inc. is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Chinese-speaking students or recent graduates located in Canada to join our Hardware Design team as virtual interns.

Location: Remote
Job Type: Internship
Duration: 3-6 months

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform circuit simulations, prototyping, and hardware testing to validate designs.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, design files, and test reports.
- Support the integration of hardware designs into GAO Research’s products and solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, sourcing teams, and product managers.

Qualifications:

- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.




- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required for communication with clients and partners in China.
- Knowledge of Chinese business culture and communication styles is a strong asset for this role.
- Understanding of electronic components and embedded systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual, team-based environment.
