Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pedorthist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the design, fitting, and modification of orthotic devices to improve foot function and alleviate pain. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with patients, providing personalized solutions to enhance mobility and comfort.

Duties

- Assess patients' foot structure and gait to determine suitable orthotic solutions
- Take precise measurements and create detailed molds or scans of patients' feet
- Design, fit, and modify custom orthotics to meet individual patient needs
- Educate patients on proper use, care, and maintenance of orthotic devices

Skills

- Solid knowledge of medical terminology related to foot health and orthotics




- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare teams
- Attention to detail for accurate measurements and precise modifications
