The Opportunity

Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Grand Prairie, Alberta. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for all the shipping and receiving of parts in our warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Shipper/Receiver your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing shipping documents including BOL’s, packing lists, and custom invoices
- Responding to requests from the Sales team
- Loading shipments to carrier trucks
- Scheduling shipments through various courier sites
- Tracking all orders in transit
- Maintaining parts and supplies and receiving parts and machine lots
- Perform the necessary lifting and handling of materials as required
- Processing returns

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience operating a forklift or a valid forklift operator ticket is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills




- Ability to learn current tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
- A commitment to follow all safe work procedures

The base pay range for this role is: $19.00 to $28.56 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Grand Prairie, Alberta.
