Position Overview:
As the Scheduler, you will play a critical role in coordinating staffing schedules for our healthcare team, ensuring that we have the right personnel available to meet the needs of our residents. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be vital in creating efficient schedules and maintaining a high standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Communicate with staff regarding schedule changes, availability, and time-off requests.
- Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Monitor attendance and report on staffing trends and issues.
- Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new staff members related to scheduling processes.
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours and assist with payroll as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with staff to promote teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a scheduling role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in scheduling software.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach.
