Job Summary:

This is a hands-on, in-person role, perfect for someone who loves working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in creating beautiful, high-quality work. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our small but talented team as a Press Operator. Whether you have prior press experience or not, we will train you to run and maintain our Heidelberg Windmill presses, mix inks by hand, set up dies for letterpress printing, foil stamping, embossing, diecutting and ensure every project leaves the shop looking perfect.

Key Responsibilities:

- Learn to operate and maintain Heidelberg Windmill presses
- Run letterpress, hot foil stamping, embossing and diecutting jobs to exact specifications
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Mix Pantone inks and prepare jobs accurately
- Assist with general shop maintenance and organization
- Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong attention to detail: you notice when something is just slightly “off”
- Mechanical aptitude: comfortable around tools and machinery
- Dependable and organized: shows up on time, ready to work
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

- Printing or manufacturing experience
- Graphic arts background or interest
- Familiarity with Pantone colour matching system
