Accounting Coordinator - Permanent - 19242

About the Prospect

Our client in the Ottawa East (Casselman) area is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis in a newly-open position.

Duties include but are not limited to:
High volume AP- processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
Processing and recording of Employee cash advances
Process AR- applying payments and monitoring aging
Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups in a timely and professional manner
Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
Support month-end close by ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented
Ensure compliance with internal policies
Provide administrative support as required
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:




Strong oral and written communication skills
Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
3+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking
Highly organized, strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
About the Job

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 based on relevant previous experience.
