We are currently hiring experienced Brake Press Operators to work with our client, a premiere supplier of carbon steel parts-to-print.

Must be experience in heavy steel manufacturing or a similar metal fabrication environment. Experience operating CNC brake presses and reading blueprints is preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with heavy-gauge steel, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate measurements and tolerances.

Location: Brampton – Orenda and West Drive

*Own Transportation an asset*

Currently hiring for the following shift:

Afternoon Shift: Monday through Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM

Pay Rate $22.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience

Brake Press Operator:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Setup, operate, and troubleshoot CNC hydraulic press brakes.

· Complete work according to Forming schedule or as instructed by Supervisor.

· Process parts according to instructions listed on Forming work order/drawings.

· Perform material handling activities manually and using overhead crane.

· Perform required equipment, safety,



and quality inspections.

· Generate NCR (non-conformance report) for parts that are not to standard.

· Complete necessary paperwork when required.

· Demonstrate safe work habits at all times.

· Perform basic equipment maintenance and report maintenance issues as needed.

· Maintain an organized work area.

· Comply with ISO Requirements

EXPERINCE AND REQUIREMENTS

· Experience with heavy steel fabrication rather than light sheet metal.

· Experience operating brake presses such as Accurpress, Bystronic, Cincinnati, Amada, Trumpf, Durma, LVD, or Ermaksan.

· Ability to safely handle large steel components using overhead cranes or other material handling equipment.

· Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow work instructions.

· A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
