Position: Shipper Receiver

Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

Location: In office Manufacturing Facility at 13111 159 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 1H6

Position Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team! In this role, you will be key to keeping our shop running smoothly by ensuring the accurate, safe, and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. From hands-on material movement and quality inspections to prep work like washing, painting, and packaging, you’ll play a critical part in our daily shop operations and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Load, unload, and unpack raw materials and merchandise indoors and outdoors.
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including handcarts, forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to transfer materials across the facility.
- Deliver materials to designated shelves, racks, or shop areas; stack and band pallets for pickup (communicating status to the supervisor).
- Pick up and transport parts between different shop areas as needed.
- Inspect incoming raw materials against specifications and mark them according to company standards.
- Wash, paint, and package parts as required.
- Conduct final packaging checks to ensure conformity to product standards and quality specifications.
- Accurately process all required shipping, receiving, and material tracking paperwork.




- Assemble custom skids and crates and pack goods securely for shipment.
- Assist with Ship Prep and Ship Loose activities.
- Maintain clean work areas, dispose of packing/strapping materials, empty chip bins, and return surplus materials to designated storage areas.
- Promote a strong safety culture, attend safety meetings, follow standard work instructions, and help mentor/train team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse/shop environment.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification is required. Valid Crane Certification is a strong asset.
- Strong work ethics with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjust to changing priorities, and manage unexpected delays or shifts in workflow.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to select and use the correct tools and equipment for specific tasks.
- Fluency in reading and writing English.
