Position Overview

Certified Red Seal Millwright role within a structured seafood processing facility. Responsible for mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and plant support. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position requiring independent judgment and robust mechanical skill.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain production and utility equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems efficiently
- Maintain ice machines, freezer systems, fish unloading systems, dock cranes, and cooled production areas
- Weld and fabricate custom components as required




- Support Operating Engineers with coordinated maintenance efforts
- Perform and document routine equipment inspections
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment

Required Qualifications

- Red Seal Millwright certification (BC Trade qualification)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in industrial environment
- Experience with pressure equipment, cooling systems, or refrigeration preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience strongly valued
- Experience in food processing or manufacturing considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with operations teams
