We are a busy dollar store located in Coquitlam, BC. We prefer to hire someone local to the Tri‑Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody) or nearby areas such as Burnaby or New Westminster.

This role is mostly merchandising, stocking, and Supervising staff, with some cashier work as needed.

Daily tasks (but not limited to):

- Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching, and walking.
- Stock and organize merchandise on shelves and displays
- Unbox and process new shipments
- Use a pallet jack to bring merchandise from the warehouse when required
- Update pricing for new and existing items
- Make space for new products on the sales floor
- Keep aisles, shelves, and the back room neat and clean
- Guide part‑time staff with merchandising tasks
- Operate the cash register when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, customer‑friendly store environment
- Assigning task to the team

Requirements

- Able to lift boxes and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable using a pallet jack (training provided if needed)
- Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented
- Works well independently and with a team

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00 per hour
