We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Home Support Worker to provide in-home total care for an elderly client living with Parkinson’s disease. This role focuses on personal care, mobility support, companionship, and maintaining comfort and dignity in a private home setting. Training will be provided for specific care needs.

Duties

- Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with feeding and hydration
- Support mobility and transfers, including use of a ceiling lift
- Repositioning and comfort care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Light housekeeping related to care (laundry, linens, tidying care area)
- Monitor condition and report changes to family
- Assist with appointments or outings as needed

Qualifications

- Experience in home care,



assisted living, hospice, or senior care preferred
- Experience with Parkinson’s disease or neurological conditions an asset
- Physically capable of lifting and transfers
- Patient, adaptable, dependable, and compassionate
- Comfortable using a ceiling lift
- Willingness to learn; training provided for specific care needs
- Criminal record check required

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
