Position Summary

The Customer Service / Technical Sales Representative is a key contributor to Exco’s daily operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the production facility, ensuring effective communication regarding production timelines, quality, technical recommendations, and customer satisfaction.

The position includes on-site customer visits to maintain a high level of service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve first-run rates on extrusion dies by refining die design rules based on customer feedback and trends.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication via phone and email.




- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and problem-solving related to processes and designs.
- Provide customers with accurate product and technical information.
- Prepare and provide pricing information and quotations.
- Attend sales meetings at Exco locations.
- Travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous customer service or technical sales experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or the ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Experience

- Technical Sales: Minimum 2 years (required)
- CAD experience: Minimum 2 years (required)
