A furniture builder is a key part of the fulfilment of the promises we make to our customers at Out Of The Woodwork. The company’s brand and customer experience relies on the proper execution of the responsibilities of this role. An understanding and experience in woodworking is an asset in applying for this job. Responsibilities of the job will include daily heavy lifting by milling and sanding lumber / building and assembling furniture. Knowledge of how to operate woodworking machinery is also an asset.

- Attention to detail, meticulous but also able to work efficiently and meet deadlines

- Hard working, has drive to work and put in the extra effort to see results.

- Physically fit; MUST be able to lift heavy lumber throughout the day, mill it and maneuver around a shop setting

- Integrous, able to work alone and get the job done without supervision when required once trained. Able to maintain the same level of excellence working alone or as a team





- Teachable; able to take direction when following instructions in building furniture details. Able to take direction and correction well

- Looking to grow into and support a growing local company & brand (someone looking to build into and grow in roles within our company (we aren't looking for someone who already has their own woodworking business or wants to work for themselves long term)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
