We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Construction Inspector specializing in Asphalt to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive inspections of asphalt construction sites to verify adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Collect and analyze data related to asphalt mix properties, compaction levels, and surface smoothness to ensure optimal performance.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and guide inspection activities effectively.
- Monitor construction activities daily, documenting progress, deviations, and potential issues for timely resolution.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to communicate findings, recommend corrective actions, and ensure project milestones are met.




- Perform quality control checks on materials used in asphalt paving to confirm compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Lead efforts in maintaining detailed records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction inspection with a focus on asphalt or pavement projects.
- Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical specifications related to asphalt construction.
- Excellent data collection skills coupled with analysis capabilities to assess construction quality effectively.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality control procedures within the construction industry.
- Ability to perform detailed construction site inspections while maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and documenting findings clearly.
- Construction experience that includes familiarity with inspection tools and testing equipment is highly desirable.
