Job Description:

Letellier Country Market is seeking a full time Baker to join our grocery store and food service team in Letellier, Manitoba. The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking bread, buns, muffins, cookies, cakes and other baked goods according to recipes, production needs and customer demand.

Main Duties:

Prepare dough, batters, fillings and baked goods according to recipes and store standards. Bake bread, buns, muffins, cookies, cakes and other bakery products. Monitor baking times, temperatures and product quality. Prepare products for display, packaging and sale. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery and food preparation areas. Follow food safety procedures and workplace health and safety standards.



Monitor ingredients and baking supplies and report inventory needs to management. Assist with other food preparation duties when required.

Requirements:

High school education is preferred. Previous baking, bakery, kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset. Ability to follow recipes and food safety procedures. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs. Must be reliable, punctual and willing to work in a rural grocery store environment.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
