Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Hair Stylist with 8+ years of professional salon experience to join our dynamic and growing team. We are proud to be a sought after luxury Aveda Salon who also carry Colorspace, Kerastase and BOB. The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft, stays current with industry trends and techniques, and has a proven ability to deliver exceptional client experiences. A bonus if you have worked with Aveda previously, however is not necessary as we provide training.

In this role, you will utilize your creativity and expertise to provide personalized hair services, build strong and lasting client relationships, and contribute to a positive, welcoming salon atmosphere. Excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to professional excellence are essential. Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations




- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling accessories to clients
- Assist at the front desk with appointment scheduling, check-ins, and payment processing
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a team based salon environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- High level understanding of effective consultation and communication
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in hair care
- Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain styling options clearly
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- A valid cosmetology license or certification
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best

Pay: $17.85-$50.00 per hour
