Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, speed, and consistency to meet quality standards
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure each dish is visually appealing and flavorful
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes for optimal presentation
- Support the food service team by efficiently managing multiple orders during busy periods
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, energetic kitchen atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
- Excellent understanding of serving etiquette and customer service principles
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and sanitation practices
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
- Passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn current techniques in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
