To continue to support our rapid growth we are seeking a hardworking, disciplined individual to join our team as Project Estimator. As a successful candidate you must have a sense of urgency, ability to problem solve, flexible and possess a can-do attitude to go along with your strong work ethic and professional demeanor. You should enjoy a fast-paced ever-changing environment, be task focused and be able to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 5)
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret project drawings, scopes,
and specifications.
- Ability to perform detailed and accurate material take-offs.
- The desire to seek out the most efficient and effective way to solve problems and complete tasks.
- Ability to meet strict bid submission timelines.
- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
- High-quality standards and confidence.
- Good typing, Word, Excel, and Outlook skills required.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to call contactors and clients to discuss the proposals and vendors to discuss materials and pricing.
- Excellent organization and time management skills are essential.
- Ability to learn the company’s measuring/accounting/inventory software.
