Our Company is looking for a Afternoon Dispatch position for trucking operations.

This Dispatcher's responsibilities will include:

- To act as a communication point for logistic needs that will require them to receive requests, answer calls and track vehicles
- Providing dispatch assistance for shipments by email and phone, including booking, entering, and tracing loads
- Custom Clearence for shipments
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Dispatch Board management
- Dealing with any customer questions or concerns in a professional manner
- Need to ensure customer relations are maintained at all times
- Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations




- Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur

Requirements

- Experience in Trucking dispatch /operations
- Positive communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner.
- Able to work in a team environment under high pressure situations
- Need to be able to prioritize workload
- Must be able to multi-task as well take appropriate action with little supervision
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and good typing skills.
- Strong analytical, organization and problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,871.94-$90,000.00 per year
