Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of audio and visual systems, including the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various equipment. This role involves working with low voltage systems, telecommunication setups, and requires mechanical knowledge to ensure seamless operation of AV technologies in various environments.

Duties

- Install, configure, and maintain audio visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of AV equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical knowledge for setup and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to support telecommunication needs during events or installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on AV equipment to prolong lifespan and functionality.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring all systems operate smoothly throughout the duration.

Qualifications





- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with low voltage systems.
- Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting related to AV technology.
- Familiarity with audio visual software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance, Apprenticeship

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
