Job Description
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing home care team. As a PSW, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes in condition to supervisors
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and uphold client confidentiality
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for all clients
Qualifications
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate (or equivalent training/experience)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Experience working with injured people, seniors, persons with disabilities, or in community/home settings preferred
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between clients
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
