AceKids Daycare is looking for ECE or ECEIT willing to work with infants, toddlers and pre school aged children.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of young children. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. This position is qualified to receive the $6 ECE Wage Enhancement

Positions:
Early Childhood Educator / Early Childhood Educator IT

Duties:
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.

- Create a protected and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Assume other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate (Infant Toddler Certificate is an asset)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Up-to-date Record of Immunizations
- Recent Criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry clearance
- Two (2) Professional References
- College certificate or diploma to obtain an ECE certificate to work in BC
- 1 to 2 years childcare experience is preferred

Other Skills & Abilities:

- Strong interpersonal communication skills with children, families, staff, practicum students etc.




- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
- Demonstrated skills in working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of BC Childcare and Licensing Regulations.
- Ability to relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds, understanding and valuing diversity.
- An ability to use technology such as MS Word and Excel, social media etc. and willingness to learn new technologies.
