About Us

Lynx Brand Fence Products is a leading Western Canadian fencing company, established in 1974, with locations across Alberta and BC. We design, manufacture, and install residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural fencing solutions — including chain link, ornamental, vinyl, wood screen, guardrail, and automated gate systems. We're a BBB Accredited business, a Certified LiftMaster Dealer, and a member of both the Canadian Fence Association and the American Fence Association.

We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our Kelowna branch and drive its continued growth.

About the Role

As General Manager of our Kelowna branch, you'll be the driving force behind day-to-day operations — overseeing everything from the manufacturing shop floor to the sales team's pipeline. You'll report directly to our head office in Calgary, AB and take full ownership of branch performance, safety, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including the manufacturing shop and fabrication/welding shop
- Lead, schedule, and support field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget
- Manage and mentor the sales team, supporting quoting, client relationships, and revenue growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring high standards of service and satisfaction
- Drive operational efficiency across production, fabrication, and installation workflows




- Ensure compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations and maintain a strong safety culture across the branch
- Manage branch-level budgets, costs, and inventory
- Report regularly to head office in Calgary, AB on branch performance, projects, and personnel
- Support hiring, training, and performance management for shop and field staff
- Identify opportunities for local business development and market growth

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in a General Manager, Branch Manager, or Operations Manager role, ideally in fencing, construction, manufacturing, or a related trade
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing production/fabrication teams, field crews, and sales staff simultaneously
- Solid understanding of welding, fabrication, or manufacturing shop operations
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Solid organizational and budget management abilities
- Working knowledge of WorkSafe BC/workplace safety standards
- Comfortable reporting to and collaborating with a head office team based in Calgary
- Valid driver's license
