We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with meal service to provide an excellent dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience and develop skills in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by the kitchen staff
- Support the cleaning and organization of kitchen workstations and storage areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Help with setting up dining areas and serving stations when needed
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following proper cleaning procedures
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of basic food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic understanding of cooking, meal preparation, or food industry practices is advantageous but not required
Pay: $17.60-$17.70 per hour
