One of our manufacturing clients close to Tecumseh, ON is looking for CNC Machinist for their plant.

Pay - Up to $33/hr

Shift - Day/Afternoon

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC machines (mills/turning centers)

- Interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T; requirements

- Select tooling, fixtures, and optimize machining processes

- Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable)

- Adjust machine offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain tight tolerances

- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions

- Perform routine maintenance and ensure machine efficiency

- Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to safety regulations

Qualifications:

- General Machinist (Red Seal) or Mechanical Technician / CNC certification, or equivalent experience

- 3 5+ years of CNC machining experience

- Hands-on experience with 5-axis machining

- Robust knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;

- Experience with tight tolerance machining
