Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and comfort
- Support medication administration following proper protocols to ensure safety and adherence to care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to encourage mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment in resident rooms and common areas
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and support physical health




- Document care provided accurately in resident records to ensure continuity of care

Skills

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Strong background in senior care, caregiving, or home care services with a focus on compassionate support
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a positive attitude in caregiving roles
