NewStart Canada Consulting Inc. is a growing and client-focused organization committed to supporting individuals through their education and immigration journeys in Canada. We are currently seeking a dedicated Immigration Consultant/Document Specialist to join our team.

Position: Immigration Consultant/Document Specialist

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Hourly wage: $19.00 - $24.00/hour, Salary will be based on level of experience

Location: Burnaby, BC V5H 0J1

Work schedule: Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and submit a range of immigration applications after RCIC’s review
- Update database(s) & utilize case preparation/management tools effectively and efficiently
- Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents, and maintain the data securely
- Collect, verify, and organize client documentation to ensure compliance and completeness.
- Monitor application progress and provide regular updates to clients
- Manage client contracts and billings, including issuing invoices and following up on payments
- Stay informed about changes in Canadian immigration laws, policies, and procedures
- Address clients’ concerns in a timely and professional manner
- May perform other office duties as assigned.




- Provide information & assistance to clients regarding program document procedures

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

- A college diploma in business administration or related field
- Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) licensed by ICCRC as an asset
- Understanding or experience with Canadian education and/or immigration policies/procedures as an asset
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- English is required; Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean are considered assets
- Well-organized; Accountability; Reliability; Judgement
- Client focused; Time management
