Originally a heritage house, Acacia Ty Mawr is a comfortable and homey Long Term Care home to 35 residents. As a publicly funded home, its suites are reserved for those who are awaiting a bed via the Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Registered Nurse: $41.42 - $55.91
Licensed Practical Nurse: $32.84 - $41.35
Casual On Call
QUALIFICATIONS FOR LPN:
- Graduation from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses
- Current practice registration with CLPNBC without restrictions.
- Previous experience in a residential care setting preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN:
- Graduation from a recognized program for Registered Nurses
- Current practice registration with CRNBC without restrictions.
- Previous training in PIECES preferred
- Previous experience in a residential care setting preferred.
SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to provide supervision, mentorship, orientation, observational and teaching opportunities to LPN’s, Care Aides and other Trillium staff.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment
