At EAT by Teatro Group, we are looking for an energetic, passionate, and hands-on Chef de Cuisine to take the lead in one of Calgary's most unique culinary destinations.

Located in the heart of downtown inside the prestigious Eight Avenue Place, EAT offers a variety of culinary options. This open-concept food centre is an exciting option for downtown diners. Providing a vast selection that includes artisan salad bars, fresh pasta and upscale take-away, additionally EAT is the premier option for full-service catering with private function space.

Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. At this time, we are not offering immigration sponsorship.

What are the duties to perform:

- Lead daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Mentor and develop culinary staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Design, execute, and evolve seasonal menus that reflect our brand and customer preferences
- Oversee food costing, inventory, and ordering to ensure budget adherence




Uphold health and safety regulations and maintain the highest food standards

What will you bring to the team:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine
- Positive Attitude! and unique attributes and skills
- Flexible work schedule, including working evenings, holidays and weekends
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Creative approach to menu design and commitment to culinary innovation
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and food and safety standards
- Ability to thrive in a quick-paced workplace
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving
- Relationship-building with associates, customers and leaders
