IS2 is looking for a Dockworker to work for a great company in Chatham. The Dockworker is responsible for accurately scanning and sorting freight, building secure skids and unloading trailers in a timely fashion.
- This is approximately a 3 week contract
- Could turn into a longer-term position for the right fit as a dock worker
Pay Rate: $18.50 / hour
Shift Time: Mon - Fri, 6am – 1pm to 2:30pm (depending on delivery volumes)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Accurately scan and sort freight
- Cube freight
- Label freight
- Record apparent overages, shortages, and damages to freight
- Maintain safe working procedures and environment
- Securely build and shrink-wrap skids
- Load and unload trailers
- Meet cut off times
- Cleaning
- Any additional duties as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs as required
- Ability to work in a fast paced workplace
- Forklift experience an asset
