Aecon is on the search for Labour foreperson to join the DOW Chemical project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Immediate start, orientation runs Tuesdays & Thursdays

Project: DOW FSP2Z
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta
$32.58 + Foreperson premium
Overtime: 8 hours/week. PAID WEEKLY
Schedule: 5x2, 6am start (4-10hour days & 1-8hour day)

Extra overtime may be available

Retirement: 8.5%, Vacation/Stat Pay: 10%

Safety training available
LOA may be available to those who qualify.

Requirements and Experience

· CSTS-20 Certificate

· Fall Protection – In Class

Experience in Grading / Earthworks Required

· Experience as a Labourer in an industrial construction workplace.

· Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

· Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.

· Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

· Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and cleanup work sites.

· Move materials and equipment, perform demolition, excavation, compaction activities, remove rubble and debris.

· Handle and distribute materials (load, unload supplies, equipment, tools to and from work areas).

· Place, consolidate and protect case-in-place concrete or masonry structures (eg. Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, mix, pour,



and spread concrete; use electric and pneumatic vibrators).

· Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, showing and barricades.

· Other duties as assigned.
