Now Hiring: Chef/Cook — Hooked Fish & Seafood / Grassroots Foods (Saskatoon)

Join a growing local food company built on quality, community, and farm-to-plate values. We're looking for a skilled cook or chef to lead food production for our retail location, with real chance to grow into a management role as we expand.

What You'll Do

Prepare and produce in-house food products across our full product range (proteins, prepared foods, and home meal replacements)

Maintain food safety, quality, and consistency standards

Manage food production inventory and minimize waste

Support merchandising of prepared food items

General kitchen cleaning and sanitation

Some customer service/sales support as needed

What We're Looking For

Culinary training or solid hands-on cooking experience

Comfort working with a variety of proteins and products — fish, seafood, pork, chicken, produce, prepared foods,



and home meal replacements

Supervisory or kitchen management experience an asset

Organized, reliable, and able to work independently

Looking for a long-term position with room to grow into a management role

Pay & Growth

Starting at $17/hr (open to discussing based on experience), with opportunities to advance into a management role as our company grows.
