Position Title: Heavy Truck Driver

Reports To: Roads & Drainage Foreperson

Business Division: Roads and Drainage Division

Number of Positions: 1 (One)

Length of Position: Permanent Full time

DUTIES:

- Operates and maintains heavy trucks and other equipment such as;

– Tandem and Three-Ton Trucks
– Skid Steer
– Ladder Truck

- Maintains assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles
- Logs and records information such as pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Performs labour and other tasks as required

EDUCATION:

- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement
- Fireman’s Boiler Operator License

EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles up to 13 speed

The following credential would be considered an asset:





- Valid Class 1A Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement

SALARY
This position has a starting salary of $ 31.18 per hour in accordance with the 2026 CUPE rates.
