We build and renovate high end homes. Additions, full home renovations, custom decks, and custom builds. We are not a volume shop. We take fewer jobs, we price them properly, and we finish them to a standard the homeowner brags about. Our reputation is the entire business model.
We are hiring for two roles. Read both and tell us which one you are.
EXPERIENCED CARPENTER
$32.00 to $36.00 per hour
You will work under Hunter, our field lead.
Here is what the job actually is. Hunter gets you started on a task, walks you through what he wants and the standard it needs to be finished to, and then goes to deal with something else. You keep going. You do not stall out, you do not need to be checked on every hour, and when he comes back the work is done properly and the site is clean.
That is the bar. You do not have to run the job. You have to be someone who can be pointed at good work and trusted to carry it through.
What you need:
You take direction well and then execute without being followed around
Real experience in residential framing, home building, or deck construction
You measure twice. Your reveals are consistent, your miters close, your walls are plumb
You know the difference between a call you should make yourself and a question that should wait for Hunter
You catch problems before they become callbacks, and you speak up when something is off
Journeyman ticket or Red Seal is an asset, not a requirement. Carpenter is an optional certification trade in Alberta and we care about what you can build, not what is on paper.
CARPENTER'S HELPER
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour
If you are earlier in your career but you have real fundamentals and you want to learn high end work from people who do it properly, this is a serious opportunity. Be honest about where you are at and we will train the right person.
WHAT BOTH ROLES INVOLVE
Residential framing, additions, and structural modifications
Interior finishing including doors, trim, casing, built ins, and stairs
Custom decks and exterior work
Working from drawings and specs
Layout, and getting it right the first time
Site organization, daily clean up, and protecting the client's home
Speaking with homeowners on site like a professional
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM BOTH
Your own hand tools
A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
You show up on time, every day
Vehicle and kilometres: you drive your own vehicle. We pay a set rate per kilometre for travel between job sites during the work day, material and supply runs, and any out of town work. Your commute from home to the first site of the day, and home again at the end of it, is not paid.
WHAT WE OFFER
Steady, year round work. Roughly half the carpenters in this province work seasonally. You will not.
Work worth photographing. High end finishes and custom work, not repetitive spec grind.
A direct line to the owners. No layers, no politics, no waiting three days for an answer.
Room to grow. We are a young company and we are growing. If you want more responsibility over time, it is there to take.
6% vacation pay and paid statutory holidays from your first day.

If you have photos of your own work on your phone, send three or four. They are not required, but they move you straight to the top of the pile.
We reply to every application within one business day. If you are a fit, you get a ten minute phone call, then a paid day on site with Hunter at full rate. No unpaid tryouts. No three round interview process.
