We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to build a career in accounting within a fast-paced transportation and industrial services environment.

Responsibilities

Process and enter a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.

Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.

Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.

Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.

Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems.

Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Prepare account reconciliations and support financial reporting.

Ensure invoices are coded correctly and approved before payment.

Work closely with the accounting and operations teams to resolve invoice issues.

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Accounting,



Business, or a related field.

1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills.

Experience with Great Plains (GP) is a strong asset.

Experience with TMW or transportation accounting systems is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
