What’s the opportunity?

As part of KOTT’s Ottawa Delivery team, you make local delivery runs to residential construction sites, and have the opportunity to be home every night.

We offer up to 44 hours/week, with overtime hours possible during peak periods. Your regular schedule is Monday to Friday, with a 6:00 am start and target 4:00 pm finish.

The wage range for this position is $26.00-$32.00/hour.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

Operate our fleet of primarily automatic transmission new and late model delivery vehicles, supported by an advanced fleet management program:

· Oversee the safe loading and strapping of materials





· Drive - safely and efficiently - to and from customer job sites, using the best vehicle for the task at hand

· Oversee the secure unloading of materials at customer sites

· Be responsible for the safe operation of your vehicles and report all maintenance issues

· Adhere to all MTO standards, including hours of service

· Other shipping and delivery responsibilities as required

What you need to succeed

· Minimum of 2 years of current driving experience

· Must have an AZ Driver’s licence

· Experience with manual transmission is an asset

· Experience with roll-off Truss Trailers is an asset

· Experience operating a Moffett is an asset

· Experience with oversize loads is an asset

· Strong communications skills

· Customer service orientation

· Training with Electronic Logs is an asset
