We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our service team and keep our diverse fleet running at peak performance.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment and snow removal equipment, including:

- Excavators (CAT, Case, Volvo, Hitachi, John Deere)
- Wheel Loaders (CAT, Volvo, John Deere, Wacker Neuson)
- Dozers & Graders (CAT D6/D8 series, Volvo G940/G976)
- Skid Steers & Track Loaders (Bobcat, CAT, Case)
- Backhoes & Tractors (Case, CAT, John Deere, Kubota)
- Packers/Rollers, Rock Trucks, and Telehandlers, and snowblowers

This is a full-time, permanent position in a fully equipped modern shop with field service support.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose,



repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, undercarriage, and electrical components.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component rebuilds.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and electronic control systems using diagnostic tools.
- Service DEF, aftertreatment, and emissions systems.
- Maintain accurate service and repair logs.
- Follow all safety and MTO standards during maintenance and testing.

Qualifications

- Prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Off-Road Technician, or Construction Equipment Technician.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with brands such as CAT, Case, Volvo, John Deere, Kubota, and Bobcat.
- Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician or 310T Truck & Coach license preferred (apprentices considered).
- Proficiency with diagnostic software and repair documentation.
- Valid driver’s license (DZ/AZ an asset).
- Ability to work independently and in a quick-paced environment.
