This position is a full-time, permanent, on-site job located in Oakville, Ontario. We are unable to consider independent service providers or candidates who do not already possess a work permit and are already living in within close proximity to the job location.

Job Description

- Serve as a point of contact for clients.
- Build strong relationships with individuals at all levels of client organization. and guarantee client has a positive, value-added experience each time.
- Communicate effectively with clients understand their needs and liaise with internal teams to ensure execution.
- Prepare quotes using company template, part numbers and price lists.
- Have a consultative selling approach with clients to choose products if required.
- Create and maintain detailed records in client files of all communication relating to client’s needs, orders, changes, delivery etc.
- Follow up with clients and provide answers at different stages of sales order.




- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint: determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problem, expedite the correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution.
- Manage specific customer projects for clients.
- Read line drawings – understand build out lighting systems per requirements. communicate and liaise with Engineer, Sales, Clients and Production.
- Prepare work orders, specify products as needed and prepare BOM per project.
- Manage job scheduling - communicate with Sales, Production, and Shipping.
- Work closely with Sales, Projects and Production to ensure order is built per client spec and review after completion.
- Manage shipping requirements: labels, packaging type: box, skid, instructions on building cases for oversized orders etc.
- Help with packing/shipping solutions for oversized lighting assemblies.
- Schedule inbound/outbound appointments with couriers, carriers, clients.
- Perform scheduled processes such as inventory counts.
- Maintain inventory records and order and restock as needed.
- Product Samples: submit sample request to Production, track and receive loaned samples, and invoice unreturned samples.
- Maintain product samples library and sample cases.
- Assemble prefabricated parts and small electrical components.
- Assist with testing and verifying products - components/assemblies, low voltage transformers, and lighting controls.
- Support off-site indoor/outdoor installations.
- Source components, tools and other equipment for production.
- Maintain warehouse, showroom, and office facilities.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00-$31.41 per hour
