Fitness Experience is Western Canada's leading fitness equipment retailer and we are looking for a strong, hardworking individual to join our team. Our staff are trained onsite to aid our customers with the shipping and receiving of recent and used fitness products. Interested individuals must display a positive work ethic for customer service as well as the ability to safely carry heavy products. This position also requires the ability to aid the delivery and installation team when necessary on large installs. We are a close-knit team and look forward to meeting those like minded team players for an in person interview.
Description of positions responsibilities:
- Availability for full-time employment Monday - Sunday (24 - 40hrs per week).
- Organizing product within the warehouse in a safe manner.
- Aiding the delivery team with lifting, loading, and building products.
- Offloading shipments upon arrival.
- Safely securing product to pallets for shipping to other locations and customers.
- Ensuring customers receive all products up on pick up and noting details in computer systems.
- Aiding in inventory control at the warehouse.
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse by eliminating debris from shipments into garbage and recycling bins.
- Operation of the 5-ton truck, the flatbed trailer and forklift as required.
- Aid the delivery and installation team on larger product installs.
- Ability to lift product (300lbs) with a partner in a safe manner into homes and facilities.
- Communication with other staff and customers.
Qualifications:
- Class 5 driver’s preferred
- Forklift experience and license preferred
