AMG Contracting is looking for an experienced Demolition Supervisor in Edmonton, AB that is willing to travel to other locations throughout the city.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Demolition Supervisor to lead and oversee demolition projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, safety awareness, and hands-on experience in demolition operations. You will be responsible for managing crews, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily demolition activities on-site
- Lead crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and safety requirements
- Enforce all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct site inspections and hazard assessments
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper usage by team members
- Train, mentor, and support crew members
- Manage site documentation, reports, and progress updates





Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in demolition or construction supervision
- Strong knowledge of demolition methods, tools, and safety standards
- Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
- First Aid and safety certifications (preferred)
- Safety tickets are an asset
