Regional Sales Manager

Description:

TecServ is a service provider for all floor care, material handling and refuse/recycling equipment to the 'large retail' industry. Currently, TecServ has 5 branch locations and an ever-growing Affiliate Service Provider Network nation-wide. TecServ's main location is located in Blackwood, NJ and is part of Kärcher North America, a global leader in building and equipment maintenance. KNA is comprised of 6 integrated companies- Windsor Industries, ProChem, C-Tech, Tecserv, Graco and Century 400. We are currently seeking a self-motivated Regional Sales Manager for our Mid-West Region. The qualified candidate will be based within the region, i.e. Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland or St. Louis. Industry experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings telephone calls and emails;

Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business;

Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;

Gather customer information;

Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;

Gaining a clear understanding of customer businesses and requirements;

Providing customers with quotations;

-
Perform equipment demonstrations;

Develop marketing and advertising materials for distribution, and

Attend sales/marketing fairs representing the company.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Additionally, you will have 3 to 5 years qualified on-the-ground sales experience coupled with managing your own territory and demonstrated year-to-year sales increases. A background in selling service products coupled with basic technical/mechanical knowledge. Previous floor care industry experiences a plus.
