Brook Village Grocery is a general store with a focus on locally sourced and high quality imported foods. In addition to grocery retail and a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich menu, we have an in-store bakery specializing in pretzels, bagels, and cookies. We are located on highway 252 between Mabou and Whycocomagh, in the heart of Inverness County farmland.

- Preparing bagels, pretzels, and other baked baked goods according to recipe and in a timely manner.
- Collaborating within the team to develop and produce current sweet and savoury offerings.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen and workspace.
- Preparing cheese portions and fillings for our grilled cheese sandwich menu.
- Assisting the kitchen manager as required,



including with food prep for catering jobs.
- Assisting customers at the cheese counter-taking orders, advising on selection, cutting & wrapping cheese
- Up to two years baking experience preferred
- Punctuality and attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current food handler certificate an asset

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
