The Opportunity

You Will

- Support production of all bakery products (Bread, Cake &/or other Pastries) produced and sold at the store
- Support and Oversee, plan and responsible for all ingredients and dough for bread, cakes, rolls, mousse, puddings, sweet goods, batters and icings and frostings according to standard operating procedures or special customer orders...etc
- Ensure product (Bread, Cake &/or other Pastries) quality, inventory level and wastage are adhered to the Company's established standards
- Support and ensure the team accurately execute the baking production process; this includes but is not limited to the mixing of flour, dough, cake mixes and other critical and minute steps for producing various bakery products
- Support and provide guidance and supervision to the Bakery Production team, ensure fair distribution of work and ensure proper scheduling is done
- Support and provide training, disciplinary actions, corrective and positive feedback on staff performance
- Participate in new product research and development process, encourage innovations
- Ensure order and replenish inventory is done on a timely basis
- Manage and responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance follow up and workplace safety of the production area
- Responsible for answering customers' enquiries
- Provides hands on demonstration of new products to the Bakery Production team as required
- Provide support to the whole bakery team, lead by example, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships

You Should Have / Be

- Possess knowledge and at least 3 years of experience in making bakery products (Bread, Cake &/or other Pastries),



including dough mixing, cake cutting / decorating, oven temperature monitoring, and other baking techniques...etc
- Possess knowledge in workplace health & safety and food safety (Food Safe Certification requires)
- Have knowledge and experience in supervising bakery production workflow and controlling cost and wastage
- Ability to manage and train employee s
- Good organization and problem-solving skills
- Participate in new product research and development process, encourage innovations
- Good communication skills, able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin)
- Flexible to work in various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours
- Have a valuable understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job
- Able to travel to stores locally and to other regions as required
