We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dental office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, maintaining electronic medical records, and providing exceptional customer service at the front desk.
*Duties*
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and qualified manner
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups using dental office software like Maxident
- Manage patient records and update electronic medical records accurately
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient billing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow
*Experience*
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Maxident, Dentrix or Epic
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
