Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects such as civil pipe installation, concrete forming, poly slab and vapor barrier installation, construction layout, and general construction. The applicant will be responsible for executing detailed construction tasks with precision and professionalism, contributing to high-quality project outcomes.

Duties

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to ensure structural integrity
- Install civil piping including water, storm, sanitary, and hydro/telecom
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks
- Install site servicing piping such as rainwater leaders, drain tile, water services, sanitary services, underground electrical and telecom ducting
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning to ensure timely completion
- Execute heavy lifting and material handling safely in compliance with safety standards
- Perform assembly tasks for various components or structures as needed
- Conduct repairs and restoration work to maintain or improve existing structures




- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working workplace at all times

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate execution of tasks
- Extensive experience in construction trades such as carpentry, woodworking, construction, and civil construction
- Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing installation processes
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment safely
- Ability to provide layout using limited tools as well as providing layout with sophisticated tools such as a total station
- Experience with rebar installation and concrete forming processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Handyman experience across multiple trades is a plus for versatility on the job site

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
