Our client (a growing distribution company with multiple plants and distribution centers throughout Canada and the U.S.) is currently hiring a Canadian based Accounting Manager. This position will function as a strategic partner in the corporate accounting group and work directly with executive leadership. We've had excellent success placing people at this company, having placed many people across several operating verticals with a tremendous retention rate.
**This role is an on-site role**
Accounting Manager (Richmond, BC – On-Site):
- Must have excellent communication and management skills
- Experience with physical inventory accounting is required
- Public Accounting experience desired, but not required
- Must have strong technical accounting knowledge in everything from reporting, reconciliations, monthly closes to analysis of strategic financial data, budgeting, audit readiness, and more
- Must have experience with large, sophisticated companies/systems with complex reporting and accounting guidelines
- Must be systems savvy, including excel
- Salary is likely $110-$120K (CAD) + bonus and benefits
Although they are a large,
international distributor with plenty of growth opportunities, their offices operate like smaller families with excellent culture, teamwork, and mentorship.
