We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CADD Specialist to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support our manufacturing projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across various sectors, ensuring quality and precision at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Creation/Revision of manufacturing drawings
- Use knowledge and experience to assist in the design of electrical temperature instrumentation products (i.e. Resistance Temperature Detectors, Thermocouple assemblies, Thermowells, Multipoints) as well as the creation of CAD drawings for Level and Pressure Assemblies)
- Work in conjunction with production, engineering and sales staff to ensure product is designed in accordance with industry, and customer standards
- Maintenance of drawing archive
Requirements
- Post-Secondary Diploma in applicable technology or equivalent experience
- Capable of performing all CAD related skills
- Familiarity with department software packages (AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro.File, CREO, Autodesk Vault and D365)
- Knowledge of standard drafting practices (mechanical and process design elements)
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Graphics experience is an asset
- Temperature / Instrumentation knowledge / experience a requirement
- Minimum 3 years direct experience with instrumentation
