As we expand into our new production kitchen in Langley, we're looking for someone who takes pride in organization, consistency, and craftsmanship to join our growing culinary team.
About the Role
This is a production-focused kitchen position. You'll work alongside our chefs preparing ingredients and components that become the foundation of our events.
Success in this role comes from being organized, efficient, reliable, and genuinely caring about producing quality food every day.
Responsibilities
- Vegetable, fruit and protein preparation
- Preparing sauces, dressings, marinades and other recipes
- Portioning and packaging food
- Assisting with production for weddings and corporate events
- Receiving and organizing deliveries
- Maintaining inventory organization
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment
- Following recipes and production schedules accurately
- Supporting food safety and HACCP procedures
- Assisting with event loading and kitchen organization when required

- Can work efficiently while maintaining quality
- Is physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to our Langley kitchen
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends during busy event periods

Schedule
Typical production (prep) shifts are Monday to Friday, with most of the events on the weekends during peak wedding season.
