Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, or industrial environments
- Perform gas fitting tasks such as connecting gas lines, testing for leaks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and welding techniques (MIG and TIG welding) to complete installations and repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems to optimize performance
- Collaborate with team members on manufacturing or construction sites to execute complex projects with precision




- Troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills to diagnose problems quickly and implement effective solutions

Qualifications

- Valid certification as a Plumber and Gasfitter with relevant licensing in your jurisdiction
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair within construction or manufacturing environments
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, welding techniques essential for custom fabrication or repairs
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy equipment or materials safely
- Proficient with hand tools, calipers, basic math calculations, and schematics interpretation
- Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to handle diverse challenges effectively
