Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will oversee key accounting functions, support financial reporting, and contribute to strategic financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings
- Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements
- Support payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions




- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field or 3 year college diploma
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting software systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in mining, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors is considered an asset

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
